Wear Gabor Ashby M in black with a skirt to make the most of its knee-high shape. The suede upper and covered heel create a continuous, dressy outline, with a side zip to open the shaft when putting the boot on or taking it off.

Ashby M is the medium-calf version, paired here with Gabor's UK C+ foot width. The calf designation describes the leg fit, not the width across your foot, so both should be checked when trying the boot. Micro lining and a resin-rubber sole complete the construction.

The actual heel height is 50mm. Made in Portugal, Ashby M works with tights and a dress or skirt when you want a taller boot with a covered heel rather than a chunky casual sole.
