Celebrating with Skechers Shoes

Skechers has become a huge name over the years with many relying on them for work, exercise and comfort. They've paved the way with their memory foam insoles and stylish designs, and many that wear them (including myself!) find it difficult to compare with any other brand. As you can imagine, with the following they have, they're a brand we're regularly asked for in store and something we sell a lot of online too.

So with this in mind, just before Christmas we decided to run a competition with not just one prize, but the chance for 3 lucky people to win a pair! Up for grabs was one pair of womens Skechers, one pair of men's and also a pair for children and we asked our Facebook followers to tell us their favourite places to wear them. We were so impressed with the response and we loved all of the suggestions, from people getting out and about during lockdowns, to people who rely on them for everyday wear. The three lucky winners were then picked at random and asked to choose a pair from our website which were then hand delivered (covid safe of course!).

If you've not tried Skechers before, then why not give them a go in 2021? Perfect for those who want to make the most of lockdown, those who are keyworkers and on their feet all day, or even if you're looking to up your fitness levels! And especially now with the latest ranges and designs, the brand have really branched out to be more inclusive of every lifestyle. This includes the new Arch Fit range which include a podiatrist certified arch support in the insole (which can also be removed if needed), and the newly popular walking and hiking range which feature waterproof uppers and gripped soles, perfect for exploring! But if those aren't for you, we still have the classic Go Walk range (some of which are now even machine washable!), the Skechers Street range and the cool Bobs range.

Our competition winner Paul Lane had this to say: "I wear these all the time, for work around the house and so comfortable for when I go for long walks with the dog. would find it hard to wear any other shoes." Our ladies competition winner Amy Bailey, who owns a shop in Llandudno first came across Skechers on a weekend away in London whilst struggling with painful feet and has said that they're 'the comfiest shoes she's ever had'. It's exciting times ahead given the she's just had a little puppy and I hope the Skechers Go Walk boots she's chosen will serve her well on walks along the prom and up the little orme.
