The Spring & Summer Trends to Look Out for in 2022

We all know how quickly trends can change in fashion, whether that be something new on the market or a retro look making a comeback, and it can be so hard to keep up with what’s stylish each season. So as our new stock starts to arrive in our stores, we thought we’d give you a run down of what to expect for spring and summer 2022.

White trainers all the way

Trainers are always a wardrobe staple, they’re so easy to put on, versatile as they go with so many different outfits (some even wear trainers for their wedding day!) and a comfy choice for everyday wear. A top trend and fashion staple for 2022, white trainers are still on top with key brands investing a lot of design time in this already popular product range! Not only are they a fab summer pick with their bright white sleek look, you can pair them with any style so it’s easy to put your perfect summer look together! 

But, what do I wear with white trainers?

Whatever you like, pair your white trainers with a dress (any pattern will do, you cannot clash with when it comes to white trainers) for that cool, chic, comfortable look. Heading to the shops, throw on a pair of your favourite comfy jeans and smarten up the look with your white trainers. If trousers are more your thing, go for a bit of colour and contrast with (you guessed it) white trainers!

Pick your platform

A bit of a retro look but one that’s certainly coming back into fashion, platform shoes and sandals are a definite must have this season! With chunky soles and cool designs, you can be transported back to the 70’s and 80’s with a stylish modern twist thanks to the return of the platform. Paired with dresses or jeans and a fab pick for any occasion, they’re great for adding some height to your look without needing heels and keeping the same comfort you’d feel in flats. Pretty in pastels

Light colours are always nice to have around summertime, and we’ve noticed a lot of brands introducing pastel colours into their ranges for this season. If you’re not quite ready to go big and bold with colour, pastels are great for a more understated colourful look, whether you’re looking at having the whole shoe in colour or just a touch of pastel in the detailing, there’s something for everyone this season.
